Bill,

At HP a couple of years ago, one of our biggest problems was first letting
the squeegees ride along with the stencils, in a separate ss basket. The
other issue was squeegee handling. Both problems effected blade dings. Not a
good thing.

The first problem was resolved by plastic coating the ss baskets with some
really good, impervious to ultrasonic cleaning stuff. The second was to fab
a simple aluminum rack for placing the squeegees by their mounging bolts
into holes just over bolt head size. I think you can envision this simple
system.

Sounds too simple to discuss, but you've hit on a vital issue. Also tried
buying several mail slot type envelope holders that had rubber inserts upon
which the blades could rest without damage. Operators didn't like this
arrangement as the squeegees were hard to place and retrieve.
