This is highly dangerous, but for intermittent,
corona, or difficult to find type problems, put
the whole setup with the UUT into a room with no
lights and run the test.  Works best in absolute
darkness.  Make sure who's ever doing the test
has lots of experience with this type of testing,
knows exactly what they're doing and all the
risks involved.  Quickest way to troubleshoot
these types of problems.

It's amazing what you'll see.
