I suggest, as it's an acrylic and easy to strip, you strip the lot, do
your rework, clean and recoat. It's risk-free. A pure water wash at < 60
°C will probably not do much harm to an acrylic but any temp excursion
(wash or dry) > 70 °C will certainly damage it. Any additive to the
water ditto. Play safe.
