Earl,

We've experimented with adhesion promoters, from my point of view this
is not an adhesion issue, in using the term 'lifted resist' I can see
how that would lead to that. What I'm finding so troublesome I suppose
is if it were indeed adhesion, or poor adhesion of the copper, why only
in such small isolated areas? It would seem logical that this condition
would be widespread across the panel as well as throughout the lot.

We're not suffering too bad over this issue, it's just one the the
hanger's on I've been tasked with eliminating.

As I said, we've experimented with adhesion promoters with good results,
but the defect rate we're seeing is approximately .75% of signal layers.
I'm wondering, is this an acceptable loss? Would $20,000 worth of
equipment be a good investment for this condition?

I still can't get over the gut feeling thought that it's something
external to the copper laminate...A contaminate in the room attaching
itself to the copper foil in rare, isolated situation.

The Cowboys..........that's funny...oh well, as is said around here for
almost 4 years now, no worries, it's a re-building year ~grinning~
