Advanced Thermal Management will take you through today's heat dissipation
requirements by discussing historical and future applications to manage
your thermal dilemmas. We will find out why the PWB is now a global
solution to heat transfer due to miniaturization and increased power and
speed applications. Investigation into the uses of IMS and ITS
technologies to combat the ever increasing "hotlist" of thermal problems.

Guest speaker:  Tony Scott

About the Speaker;

Tony Scott is a Field Application Engineering Manger with Coretec-Inc
of Toronto Canada. He has been active in the fabrication of
Printed Circuit Boards for seventeen years, starting with Exacta Circuits
in Scotland and then Viasystems Europe before moving to Canada in 1998.

Tony was Plant Manager for 14 months prior to joining the Field
Applications Team early in 2000. His broad knowledge of the industry is
valuable at any stage of the product life cycle. His strengths lie in
Manufacturing Technology and World Class Manufacturing philosophies and
systems. He is currently active in IMAPS, IPC and CMAPS as well as driving
new educational initiatives in University of Toronto, George Brown College,
Toronto and Centennial College, Scarborough.
