Hello Stephen; I have just recently signed into the TechNet, and didn't see your
original request. As in our case, we are governed by the requirements of our in
house quality system, (or contract specific requirements) as to retention of
process, or any other product related data.
In our case, it is three years minimum, unless extended by contract, after
shipment of product.
Hopefully this will give you some help.

Subject: [TN] Industry Standard for storage of Process and
          Product data

I have sent several notes in the last week requesting standards or
specifications that may exist concerning guidelines for the retention of
process and product specific data. I have not recieved any answers. To me
that indicates that none exist, Jedec, IPC, Bellcore or otherwise.

If anybody has done a similar search and come up empty I would at least
appreciate a confirmation of my conclusion.

Thx.
