TechNetters,

Please let me know of your methods for transporting assemblies in your plants.

We have been using Olympic "totes".  These are heavy, static-shielding, polypropylene black boxes.  But we have some assemblies that are too big to fit inside - we can't put on the lids.  And for other reasons, we would like to try something else.

We are looking into some containers made by Kenflex.  Their advantages are:  boxes can be custom-sized and assemblies ride is sliding, static-dissipative polyethylene baffles.  The disadvantage is they are expensive:  depending on number of baffles and box size, prices run in the 200$ range.  (The Olympic totes are about 55$.)
