Hey ya'll...

I know this will be a long-shot, but we're looking for some metric female
lockscrews that are used on some 9-pin connectors...they're for an AMP
connector, but the screws in lockscrew kits they have are not long enough. We
need some female M3/.5 screws that have a screw length of .5 inch...the AMP
parts have a overall length of .5 inch, but the thread length is too short.

The vendor that has supplied this screw in the past is in France, and they're
giving us a delivery date of sometime in January...needless to say, there's a
lot of people around here having coronaries... we're supposed to deliver
product at the beginning of next month.

I've searched and searched and can come up with a lot of of lockscrew kits
for connectors, but most of them are standard threaded, not metric...and like
I said the AMP part is too short...(this is a good lesson in design for
manufacturability taking part availability into consideration)

Is there ANYPLACE that I might look to find something like this? Someone that
might even make the screws for us? It'll be a big order, we need about 14,000
of these jewels...

Thanks! (not hoping for much though...)
