No-one seems to have asked the $64000 question (should be up-dated today
to $1M). What kind of flux are you using? It is possible you have some
flux residues remaining and ***it is worse than useless*** to apply a
conformal coating over demonstrably corrosive contamination: at the
best, you will only delay the onset of problems.
