I know of these aluminum disks that are pvd ceramic coated. I can't figure
out what they are used for or even why they are coated to be honest. Does
anyone know what products are pvd ceramic coated? Our company does a lot of
work with pvd coatings for high wear users such as machining tools for
extending life. But I understand that there are a lot of coatings used in
electonics and optics.
