Last week at the Electronic Assembly show in Chicago I ran across a company
that offers electronic assembly training via CD.  I don't know how well the
industry has responded to there product however.  There webpage is located

Colleagues,
                 we are investigating starting an internal training
programme in electronic assembly for our shopfloor staff (assemblers,
technicians and test engineers) and would like this to be of a formal
nature.

Does anyone have any experience with developing an internal training scheme
that would, ideally, lead to a qualification that would be formally
recognised (such as an NVQ) , or has anyone used an external training
consultant or organisation to provide such a service? Alternatively would
any consultants like to discuss this idea with us.
