You might be seeing the residual weak organic acids from the WS flux reacting
with the water to turn white.  In addition to what Brian Ellis has written,
when we see white residues, it is either abietic acid from rosin turning
white or weak organic acids from the flux turning white.  The latter occurs
more frequently with the low solids fluxes since they have a much higher
level of WOAs.
