Hi all,

recently we faced a quality issue with one of our boards. The surface
finish of this board is selective Gold.

When the board is sent through the wave soldering machine, some parts of
the PCB catches solder while others do not. The problem area is random.

What could possibly cause this problem? Will sending the boards through a
5% acid concentration cleaning line help? Will it damaged the Gold surface?

Please advise. Thanks.
