The Messina book is well worth the cost
(about $50), as it provides real world examples of SPC and DOE
implementation into SMT manufacturing. Everything else I've came across was
either generic or targeted towards machining-type operations. Mr. Messina
will be presenting an all-day technical session at Nepcon Texas on November
2nd covering general practices and case studies, I'm looking forward to
attending.
