Hey Jim Terveen...  you know we have a laser marker...  didn't you used to
use it?  How are you?  By the way, can't laser one particular part because
it's Kovar (iron based) and can rust if nickel is penetrated.

        In a past life we used to use a laser marking machine to mark nickel
plated
        heatsinks on circuit boards.  Maybe you might have a laser marker in
your
        facility that you can use to mark the parts.  Because if I remember
the
        marking always seemed to come off the nickel heatsinks during
cleaning.
