ODB++ is a data exchange format (sorta like GenCam I think), developed by Valor. When I complete a design I read it into a Valor product called Enterprise3000 and perform a fabrication analysis (sort of a super-duper DRC). I donot have to generate a netlist, drill, masks, gerber -- it is read in from the native CAD database and embedded within ODB. See valor-us.com
