Hi Rudolph!

Well, if the fixture needs a lot of machining and any special hold-down
hardware, $350 is pretty much average. But if it's pretty straight foward and
nothing real exotic,
then that does seem a little high...

You might want to check with a fellow Technetter, Ed Popielarski. He's making
some fixtures for me right now. He's not up in the Bay Area, but he's not
that far away, just down in Irvine, Ca. The ones he's making for me are quite
large, and he's doing some
machining on the fixtures that will mask places on the board so we won't have
to before wave. He's also putting a hold-down down device that will keep 12
right angle headers that are at the edge of the board from tilting during
wave...we've been tack soldering them in and masking over the tack before.
