Kathie,

If you're already recording various readings on your cleaner and cleanliness
testing, then what does your data show?  That should at least point you in
the right direction to see what is more critical or has higher variability.
B. Ellis made a very good point of comparing apples to apples off the
Omegameter.  For the vapor degreaser I'd think solvent quality and time in
vapor might be a good place to start.  Not familiar with your equipment but:
Do you cold spray prior to removing parts - manual spraying isn't that
repeatable.  Do you have a lot of dragout from your semi-aqueous cleaner and
how is concentration maintained...auto metering, manually replenished?
