Franklin,

 If AOI can detect faults consistently, I would be incline to try boards that were machine
inspected and not electrically tested.  I have found that there can be a small percentage
of electrically tested boards that end up getting caught at my ICT.  If AOI gave me better
results - what the heck.

Would AOI be able to catch over and under etch conditions better than electrical testing?

What fabrication steps would be done to the boards after inspection that could damage a
known good board?
