Hi Steve
Great Photos, but need microsections to see what is inside nodules to
troubleshoot how in the world they got this way.  I have seen all kinds of
causes for nodules and "lumpy" plating including using contaminated
copper anodes.  Would not hazard a guess as to cause without seeing
inside.
