We have gone to a partial clinch already... and shortened lead protrusion to
~ 50 thou. this has helped but hasn't eliminated the problem. I think we'
may be bending leads during handling as this board goes through axial, CS400,
masking, hand stuff after DIP and prior to wave. Plus we still have the
axial & CS400 parts that may get clinched towards a trace - we've tried to
tweak to partial clinches there as well. 600 - 700 parts on the board
THOUSANDS of leads, poor spacing, undersized holes/oversized parts, another
board where DFM wasn't exercised...
