Hi,
Back in the days when we used an HRL for single sided resist lamination we ran the
lower roll at 100F to keep the resist from sticking to the lower roll between panels.
Still had good resist adhesion as long as the exit temperature of the panel was at
least 145F. The upper roll was set at 235F.
We used to do it very unsafely. All the guards off and the operators with their
fingers very close to the pinch keeping light tension on the edges of the flex, half
mil Kapton with half ounce copper.
Now we use the Differential Pressure Laminator, (vacuum laminator).
