hi,

there are two unattractive, yet obvious, options.

1.  you can x-ray the board to see if any of the pins buckled.

2.  you could look down the holes and see if any of the pins are set way back deeper than others.

there is one attractive option.

1.  tell your designer to call out longer tails.

Hello.
Can anyone tell me if there are any requirements documented for lead
protrusion of press pins.  If none is required how is visual inspection
completed to verify that a lead did not curl/bend beneath the body
especially on 6 & 8 row VHDM connectors.
