Hi Steve I agree with Bruce, some of us don't have any control over the
board design, therefore we have to work with what we receive.
Make sure the set-down or depth stop is high enough to avoid any type of
damage to the resistor body.

Hi Steve,
Smaller resistors would certainly be the answer, but in the near term have
you tried auto inserting in pairs, skipping every third slot instead of
every other slot? They should "lean" enough to allow this and reduce the
manual placement bottleneck by about another 50%.
