Hi ya'll!

I think I might have talked about this in the past, but anyway, I've got this
board here that has oh, about 375-390 axial parts in it. I auto-insert a good
portion of it, but I can't do it all. That's because the resistors that are
used are 1/2 watt resistors, and there are many places on the board where the
resistors are layed out on .100" centers next to each other, unfortunately,
the body diameters are larger than .100"...they range from .103-.107". Go to:

Look at respacing.jpg, and respacing2.jpg, and you'll see what I'm dealing
with. Right now, I insert every other one at the places that have the
resistors "brick-walled" like that, and then hand-stuff them at our CS400's.
But I'm looking to try and auto-insert more...the CS400's are stuffing 272
parts now and it's a big bottleneck.

I was told that there maybe some 1/2 watt resistors out there with smaller
body diameters. Philips carry some that they call "Space Misers" and they are
smaller, but they only go up to 1/3 watt...

Do any of ya'll know where I might find some skinny 1/2 watt resistors?

TIA
