I know its not specifically what you are looking for, but Toshiba uses
2SCxxxxx part numbers for their transistors.
As for a web based utility to do a cross-ref to US/European vendors I don't
know of any. I think I will give
Jon's suggestion a try.

P.S. Japanese vendors don't seem to provide cross-reference information,
but many US vendors do. You might try
some of their sites.

FreeTradeZone on the web might help.  You could search for a particular
part
and also cross reference with another  and the technical data was also

Techsters,

I'm looking at the need to cross reference a goodly number of
what I believe to be Japanese part numbered discrete semis.
Most all begin with     2SC and are of the form 2SC3325Y, for
example.

Is there a cross reference on the web somewhere that might
cross these to US/Euro sources?
