        Phil,

I was kinda surprised to see that a 1,1,1 product was still on the
market. Anyhow, we tin our gold plated connector leads using RMA fluxes. We
use a Chemtronics product called Flux-Off CZ for rosin flux removal. This is
an environmentally friendly material and works terrific. It is, however,
very expensive. It runs about $18 per can and over $300 per gallon when
using the liquid. Needless to say, I keep a tight lid on usage and only use
the material when absolutely neccessary (like cleaning tinned connectors).
Otherwise we use isopropyl alcohol for general benchtop cleaning operations.
