Michael,
So far, I have not found a mask that peels all the way off. It either leaves a ring around its edges or parts of itself inbetween the pad and soldermask clearance. I have also had cases where if the mask flows thru the holes it can break off in the hole. The most usable that I have is either the TC527 or TC533 for Techform. The Chemtronics DA Chemask was terrible for sticking to the polyimide substrate we use on boards.
I plan to review the water solubles so that we can eliminate the problems we see with the peelables.

Any manufacturers in here have experience with peelable mask? Only the good
points are ever discussed in the sales brochures. I'm looking for the evil
side. It seems to go against everything I've ever tried to accomplish with a
solder mask and it makes me a little nuts to think a customer wants to undo
what we try so hard to do! I'm afraid next they'll want removable
traces.....Any thoughts or comments appreciated.
