Sounds like a great application for a shock dampened 'diddle-stick' and a
stepper motor on an x-y table with a PLCC controller of some sort... !

Ahhh, way back in the early 70-s, when the IEEE-bus popped up, one of the
engineers at Tektronix said: "Soon we will have an IEEE-screwdriver, that
will make calibrating instruments much easier".
But I don't believe soon has come yet. So adjusting potentiometers in
instruments (and in power supplies) is still done by hand (?).

Hi, Technetters,
We are going to use surface mount type potentiometers in our new product.
But
since it's small in size, so trimming manually by small screwdriver is not
efficient. Does anyone know of any equipment/machine available to do the
trimming automatically? Thanks in advance.

Regards,
