Hello on-line gurus...
I had such a positive response to our request for reliability help, I
thought I'd try again.
We are bidding on the development/production contract for an Electronic
Engine Controller for a general aviation powerplant.
Can you suggest, off-line please, assembly houses that could
"build-to-print" the following:

requirement: IPC J-STD-001 Class 3

board 1:  8-layer, 11" x 11" FR-4 board
technology 1:  double-sided SMT with through-hole connectors, headers - two
272-pin BGAs - two pressure transducers

board 1: 4-layer (maybe 6), 3" x 3" FR-4
technology 2:  SMT with through-hole headers

testing: verify continuity, correct polarization, missing parts
conformal coat: acrylic

quantity:  500/yr starting in '02 (both boards)
plant location:  prefer Midwest, but not a hard requirement

BOM and preliminary schematics available. Layout very soon.
