Hi Steve,
            All I can say is  "Have Fun". We have a similar problem on gas arrestors on
one of our designs. We cheated and got a production concesion for the midle pins which
where not soldering. ;-). Agresive Flux, Lots of preheat, slow conveyor, Big old long
deep dip into the solder bath, is about  all I can sugest.  I finally got  our problem
solved  sort of, we get "suficiant" rise (not consistant or good) but boy that poor
old  FR4 gets  nice and hot.........
