Consider yourself fortunate. Stronger, more ductile copper is better.

We run copper plating tests monthly and send these to an independent lab
for testing. The requirements are Tensile Strength 36,000 psi minimum
and Elongation 6% minimum. My question to the experts is-- what if our
readings were high, i.e. 43,000 psi and 20% elongation?
