We recently mounted pegboard at our workstations to hold our hand tools. It is
hung from a wire shelf about 10-12 inches above the work surface by nylon cable
ties. We did this as part of a Lean manufacturing exercise. Now I have been told
that this is an ESD violation because the wood fiber pegboard is not grounded.
Could you guys and ladies out there give me your opinions? What kind of risk do
you see with this?
Thanks in advance,
Charles Caswell
