Jim,

Having differences of opinion are one thing, but slamming individuals for
expressing their beliefs is something else. Your comment with the "limited
vision" criticism is totally uncalled for, and unprofessional. You could have
easily made your point without adding the comment in parentheses. For those of
us that have real Pb free requirements in the next few months, we need to work
on concrete solutions. This is just more evidence why we should have two
separate forums, a technical and a political based. That will allow those of us
with "limited vision" to concentrate on satisfying customer requirements and
keeping our companies in business.

If we can't have separate forums, we ought to be able to use this one without
being attacked for our views.

Subject: Re: [LF] Proposed EC WEEE Directives

Nick:

No apologies are necessary (despite the limited vision expressed by
certain members of this list).

Your information is valuable. Further, the on-going work by your
department to maintain rational discussion of the lead-free issue
(addressing the substantive problems as well as the political forces)
has greatly encouraged me over the months. Please keep up the good work
and public postings.
