Yeah Andy...

I hear everything you're saying. But what pisses me off, is that a company
as
big as Dove would stoop so low as to get free advertising...hell, they're
big
enough to pay their way just like everybody else does. If I were the IPC I
would ask for payment. Then, as I once suggested before, be put into a pot
where at the IPC Expo (or some big hoopla) be a "tab" funded (The Rock
Bottom
Brewery in Long Beach comes to mind ;^)) that these "Free-loaders" pay their
due...believe me, Dove Bros. can afford it!!! I can't believe they would
stoop so low as to spam the TechNet...what a bunch of LOSERS!!!! A paste
from
their web site is below...claiming how "proud" they are of their
traditions....B.S.!!! A bunch of low life car salesmen is all they are!!! I
pasted that below not at all to promote them, but to show that they are big
enough not to have to stoop to try and get free advertising...if anyone can
afford to pay for legitimate advertising, they can...

-Steve Gregory-

DoveBid is proud of its 60-year tradition of maximizing value for thousands
of sellers
throughout the world. DoveBid began in 1937 when its founder, Harry Ross,
picked up a gavel and sold his first piece of machinery. By the 1980's, our
firm pioneered the use of auctions in high technology by selling the assets
of Osborne Computer - the first computer auction in history. Six decades
after its founding, the firm has maintained its legacy of leadership by
conducting many of the world's largest, most successful auctions on behalf
of
corporations, government agencies and financial institutions.

DoveBid has conducted over 3,000 industry specific auctions throughout the
world selling over 10,000,000 individual lots. Buyers from Santa Clara to
Singapore have responded by purchasing over $5 billion in assets. Our
database of buyers grows with each campaign. DoveBid brings liquidity to the
marketplace by maximizing seller value through competitive bidding the
ultimate indicator of market value.
