I do know most automation equipment that have rack type system computers are
"flaky" with higher temperatures. Most equipment use cooling fans to help
dissipate the heat generated by the rack computers. YES! My thoughts
exactly....the fans are at the bottom of machines where Dirt, Debris, and
Spooge is available to clog filters, thus generating more Heat..and so on...

Also, I do know with Gantry style Placement machines and other motor driven'
machines have a shunting resistor is inplace to dissipate current. Example:
If the two Gantrys come together during a crash the current from the motors
is shunted to these resistor and is dissipated as heat. Higher Manufacturing
floor temps can affect the effectiveness of the shunting circuit. Resulting
in sacrificed Emergency Stopping procedures.
