How safe are these devises?

I would suspect that a great quantity of movement could be achieve with
little effort. It could be eventually hard to stop something that has a
great mass.

I dont know the name of the company that makes them, but
I saw them used to lift about 75 feet of industrial (20' tall) racking
in one move (and with one person pushing!).

It really works (and was great fun to watch!)
