Two important notes:

1) You must send the signoff request from the same e-mail account that you
used to join; otherwise, the request will be rejected by the ListServer.

2) Make sure you use plain text for the response.  Some packages such as
Outlook or Outlook Express may be configured to use Rich Text or HTML, which
many ListServers cannot understand.  In Outlook Express for example, chose
'Format' from the menu while composing the message and ensure that "Plain
Text" is selected.
