There's a little known remover that most of us have in our garage... WD-40.
I used it many times to remove masking tape glue residue from glass on
tabletops... but remember it's a penetrating oil with petroleum distillates
in it... so make sure it won't hurt the object you want to clean...

Hans, try "Goo Gone". I use it at home and have seen librarians use it to
remove labels from books. It works great! Try a small spot first, as always.

Subject: [TN] Adhesive Remover for artwork
Hey Gang,
I'm looking for an adhesive remover.
We're using a new label printer to image the batch numbers on the panels.
Only problem, the labels are leaving adhesive on the artwork when we pull
them off. I already tried Chemtronics adhesive remover and it just smeared
the glue around. So, before I start making a bunch of calls or trying
household cleaners I thought I'd ask this illustrious body.
Thanks,
Hans
