I'd further add to this, that I have never found Cadstar to be very good
at creating pick & place files.

Mainly because, unless the component is created in the same 0 degree
rotation that it is on the
P&P machine, you have a 'lot' of fiddling to do to get them aligned
correctly.
Either that or the entire SMT library needs checking & adjusting to
match the same default rotation.

I have found it much better to use GC-Place for the P&P files & leave
Cadstar to making the PCB files.
