Hi all,
I need to specify requirements regarding a part storage room. I have 2 questions :
- which fire protection method do you use in your facilities (CO2, water, other...) ?
- do you know if parts (with plastic or ceramic packages) have a limitation on the temperature variation they can tolerate (during the extinction phase) without being damaged ? For instance, in a reflow process, preheating can be achieved with 4°C/sec without destroying the parts : what would happen if they are submitted to 10°C/sec or even more ? do the part manufacturers specify this kind of information ?
THANKS A LOT
