I am partial to Siemens Placement equipment The German Engineering is true
to form.
I also like the Universal products and they have great Service and Tech
support.
Your question is broad....Different applications will be met by your
demands. Do you need flexibility? Need Speed? Need Change over? Money an
issue? Through put?
There are many factors to be considered when identifying equipment.

All Placement machines have quirks, its just identifying which ones you can
live with.
Also, released at NEPCON East was the Pick and Place evaluation. Contact me
off line for more information.

Subject: [TN] Surface Mount Equipment

Does anyone have any preferences among different types
of SMT equipment: Fuji vs Panasonic vs Universal? Any
performance issues or quirks among them? Where can I
go to learn more? Thanks for any help.
