Chuck,

Not sure how much help I can be but here's our experience:

We had huge problems with staining on the dt foil. We were
using the resist stripper that was recommended by Morton.
We use their Dry Film. Morton's stripper was a full dissolve
type of stripper and easy to use but somewhat pricey. We
sampled some stripper from Dexter, and had far less staining,
higher yield thru AOI and a better looking product. The
Dexter dissolves to a "chunky" kind of particle size and
required the addition of an enhanced filtration system.

The daily a.m. concentration checks have been moved up to
twice a day and we are happier with the Dexter. There are
days when we still have issues but they appear to be more
operator related, not qualifying the process prior to start-up.
Good help is hard to find.

There is only one drawback to setting up with Dexter. At the
moment we are not getting any tech support while the
Cookson-Alpha-Dexter mess is getting straightened out. We
aren't big enough to warrant much attention, no direct sales or
tech support, but that's another story.

Feel free to contact me direct if you have any specific questions
about how we qualified the differences. I'll hook you up with
one of the process techs. This is my story and I'm stuck with it.

Good luck,

Anne Ledger
