The Johnson and Grahm book, High-Speed Digital Design: A Handbook of Black
Magic, is the best I know of. Mark Montrose also has a good book on the
subject (sorry cant find the reference right now -- try
http://www.amazon.com )
You can also check the PCB Design Confrence Proceeding for the last few
years, the articles by Lee Ritchie and Rick Hartley are must reads for high
speed designers.

Good Luck, and welcome to the fun,

<< Good Morning Technet,

I have been asked by our design group if there are any good reference
sources (books or publications) on High speed design and RF design.
 All/any inputs appreciated.

Hi Anne!

Go to http://www.smtplus.com and then look under technical publications.
They've got a pretty extensive library of books there...and they have a
synopsis of each book.
I did see a few books on high-speed design there.

Also, go to http://www.rfdesign.com/ it's a web page for RF Design Magazine,
might find some stuff there.

Another good RF page is at: http://www.rfglobalnet.com/content/homepage/
as well as http://www.sss-mag.com/

For high speed board design go to: http://www.speedingedge.com/ it's a web
site for a consulting firm founded by Lee Ritchey who is a who's who in high
speed board design. There's some articles there and he also gives courses.
He
and Jim Blankenhorn have also authored a book on high speed board
design...you'll see that book at the SMT Plus web page...I think they want
around $150 for their book.

For more books, go to: http://www.sigcon.com/books.htm there's two books
there,
One is called; High-Speed Digital Design: A Handbook of Black Magic, and the
other is; Fast Ethernet: Dawn Of A New Network...the http://www.sigcon.com
page looks pretty good too...
