While looking through another pack of annoying Business Reply Mail (3" x 5"
promo. cards) I ran into the ASG MS-1000.  Sort-of a handheld ErsaScope.  A
special 45 degree prism provides illumination and lets you see the BGA balls.
 Up to 130x magnification, 542 Horizontal/496 Vertical resolution.  Should be
substantially cheaper than the Ersa but you don't get the defect library,
back illumination, image capture ...
