YES, AND REMEMBER THE AGONY WE HAD TO GO THRU TO ERASE ALL OF THAT GOLD OFF
OF THOSE PADS BEFORE SOLDERING? WASN'T THAT FUN? ONE OF THE GUYS IN OUR PC
OPPERATION DEVISED A WAY TO MASK OFF THE PADS AND LEAVE THEM COPPER WHILE
THE REST OF THE CIRCUITRY GOT GOLD PLATED. WHAT A BLESSING THAT WAS! SEE I
AM ONE OF THE "OLD GUYS" TOO.

Its good to see someone else that also goes back that far on pcb,s. A good
bit of the guiden systems from North American Avaition (later Rockwell) for
the space program were gold boards, for the the early days thats all that we
made.
