Trevor,

I would be glad to see your presentation
and give you my input.

I have Power-Point 2000 which I think
will show 97, but maybe your viewer
would also be a good idea.

Thanks

Subject: [DC] DfX adviser tools

I hope that this request does not contravene the accepted protocol
of this forum, but I really would appreciate a little help from the
layout people with a project that we currently have running here .....
We are looking into the possibility of creating a 'Design For X'
advisory tool - a tool that will analyse a layout design from various
perspectives and provide the designer with some appropriate
feedback. I should add that this is currently just a research project
and not a commercial venture. We have developed the framework of
a prototype system, and it would be great if I could get some
comments on this so that we have a clearer picture of the different
needs that designers have in relation to this type of tool. I have a
PowerPoint 97 slide show file that briefly describes the functionality
of the prototype system, illustrated with screen shots from the
software. If anyone could spare ten minutes or so to view this file
and give me a little feedback, please let me know (directly please,
via my above e-mail address) and I will send you the file for your
comments. I can provide a P/P 97 viewer if necessary. Any input
would be most welcome, and I will relay any general consensus of
opinion to the list.
Many thanks.

the PCDlist - apologies if you've received it twice).
