Microsoft has provided an update for Outlook to prevent these types of
virusses (or is it viri?) to get into your system. I got it off their update
website. For Outlook 98 the update is called "o98secu.exe".
And this morning it did its thing with this particular problem. When I
brought the offending (not you CD) e-mail up, it warned me that I would not
be able gain direct access to the attachment.
By the way, without disrespect to any TechNetter, any message with
attachments I typically delete immediately without opening, unless I have
very, very specific reasons to read it. So when you have material to share,
make it part of the message rather then attaching it.

I got a message with the virus. It was followed by several warning messages
from
techies. No help from within our company.
