TechNetters,

I'm reviewing and revising our ESD control procedure.  The last person to do this put in a statement that we would use only anitstatic tape in production areas.  However, we do have static generating tape commonly used in production areas.

I'm asking myself and colleagues, do we want to keep that statement about antistatic tape in our procedure?  If so, we need to start using such tape.

Is antistatic tape a good idea, or just a cosmetic feature?  Thanks for any comments.  Lou Hart 412-858-6184, QA Compunetix
