Hey Ed buddy!

I looked for ya' but couldn't find the EIA spec to download....BUT I searched
for "tape and reel specifications" on www.google.com and got a bunch of hits.
Most of the hits were from companies that said they conform to EIA standards.
This spec that you call out only has to do with tape width, pitch of each
part, and standard reel size. I don't think that you'll be able to buy
carrier tape from anybody that doesn't conform to the EIA standard. I say
that because all the pages that I listed below say they conform to the EAI
spec. Each page lists the dimensions of the tape that they supply their
components in, and they all agree. So I would think that all you have to do
is find the dimension of the part, call a company like
http://www.advantek.com (MFG's of tape and reel supplies), tell them the size
of the part, and let them tell you the tape that you need that complies with
the EIA standard. Here's the web pages I found anyway:

http://www.coilcraft.com/tapereel.html
http://www.nemcocaps.com/lsr-case.html
http://www.frontierusa.com/trspec.htm
http://www.maxim-ic.com/TechSupport/SurMount.htm
http://www.pletronics.com/TandR.htm
http://207.193.110.246/page_41.htm
http://www.foxonline.com/osctrspc.htm

Hopes this helps buddy!
